FESCO Tariff & Unit Rates: Current Prices, Adjustments, and Regulations
FESCO serves millions of customers across Punjab with varying electricity rates that depend on consumption levels and customer categories. Understanding these tariff structures helps consumers better manage their monthly electricity bills and make informed decisions about their power usage.
NEPRA has approved a 4.2% reduction in electricity tariffs for distribution companies including FESCO, bringing rates down to an average of Rs34 per unit for the 2025-26 fiscal year. This change affects residential, commercial, and industrial consumers differently based on their usage patterns and connection types.

FESCO Tariff and Unit Rate Explained
The FESCO electricity tariff is the approved price structure by NEPRA that decides how much you pay for your electricity each month. It includes fixed charges and unit rates based on your connection type, sanctioned load, and monthly usage slab.
The unit rate is the cost per unit (1 kWh) of electricity. Your monthly bill is calculated by multiplying your consumed units with the applicable unit rate, plus any fixed charges or taxes.
Example: If your unit rate is Rs. 30 and you use 200 units, your variable charges will be Rs. 6,000.
Knowing the latest FESCO unit rates helps you understand your bill and manage electricity usage more efficiently.
